How It Works: Setting Up Your Company in Bulgaria With Us
From the first free call to a registered company with a bank account and accounting in place. What happens at each step, and what we need from you.
Starting a company in another country can feel like a lot of unknowns. Which documents, which offices, how long, how much. Our way of working is made to remove these questions early. You always know what happens now, what comes next, and what we need from you. Here is how it looks from the first message until your company is running.
1. A free first call
Everything starts with a conversation. You tell us about your business, where you live, who will own the company, and what you want to achieve. Do you only need a company, or do you also plan to move to Bulgaria? Are you alone or with partners? Do you work with clients in other EU countries?
The call is free and without obligation. If, after we talk, Bulgaria doesn't look like the right choice for you, we will say it openly. It happens, and it's better for everybody to know it at the start.
2. A clear plan and the costs in writing
After the call you get a short written plan for your case. It says which company structure makes sense, which steps are needed and in what order, which documents you need to prepare, how long it will take, and what it will cost.
Nothing is started before you agree with the plan. This way there are no surprises later, and you can compare and decide calmly.
3. Preparing the documents
When you decide to go ahead, we prepare the company documents and check the company name in the Commercial Register. We also send you a simple list of what we need from you, usually your passport details, the registered address choice, and some information about the business.
If you prefer not to travel, much of the process can be done with a power of attorney. If you come to Bulgaria, we plan it so you do the notary signatures, and if possible the bank meeting, in one or two days.
4. Registration of the company
After the documents are signed and the capital is paid in, the application goes to the Commercial Register. Once everything is complete, the registration usually takes a few business days. You get your company number, and from this moment your company exists.

5. Bank account
Next is the business bank account. This is the step that needs the most preparation, so we start with it early. We help you prepare a clear file about your business, explain what the bank will ask, and coordinate the meeting.
We are honest about this part: the bank decides by itself, and nobody can promise an account. What we make sure is that your application is complete and clear, so it's not the reason for delays.
6. Tax registration and accounting set up
When the company is ready to work, we make sure the tax side is in order from day one. If you need a VAT number early, for example because you work with EU clients, we arrange it. The accounting is set up, and you know exactly which documents to send each month and when.
7. Ongoing support
After the setup, the company has regular obligations: monthly reports if needed, the annual tax return, annual financial statements, and changes when your business grows. Many clients stay with us for this, so they have the same contact who knows their company from the start.
And if later you want to move to Bulgaria, bring in a partner or expand, we are here for that as well.
What we need from you
Honestly, not much. Quick answers when we have a question, your documents sent on time, and openness about your business and plans. The better we understand your situation, the better we can prepare everything, and the faster it goes.
