Assistance with Company Formation in Bulgaria
Register your EOOD or OOD in Bulgaria in 3 to 5 business days once your documents are ready. We prepare the documents, coordinate the notary and the filing, and guide you through every step, also if you live abroad.
Registering a company in Bulgaria is not difficult, but it has many small steps: the right company form, the name check, the founding documents, the notary, the capital, the Commercial Register. Each office wants something a bit different, and most of it is in Bulgarian. We take care of all of this for you, so you get a registered company without running between offices or guessing what comes next.

How long it takes
Once all documents are signed and the capital is paid in, the registration usually takes 3 to 5 business days. From our experience, the time before that depends mostly on how quickly the documents and signatures are ready. If you come to Bulgaria for a day or two, everything can move very fast. If documents are signed abroad and need an apostille and translation, plan a bit more time.
What we need from you
A copy of your passport, and of all owners and managers
The company name you want, with one or two alternatives
The address for the company in Bulgaria, or we help you find one
A short description of the business
How the shares are split, if there are partners
If one of the owners is a foreign company, we also need its documents, such as a recent extract from its register. We will send you an exact list for your case after the first call.
Do you need to come to Bulgaria?
Not always. Much of the process can be done with a power of attorney, and many clients never come for the registration itself. But many prefer to come once for a short visit, sign everything at the notary, and if possible also meet the bank on the same trip. We plan it in the way that works best for you.
EOOD or OOD?
If you are the only owner, it’s an EOOD. With two or more owners, it’s an OOD. The tax is the same, and the minimum capital is only 1 euro for both. With partners, the important part is to agree in advance how decisions are made and what happens if someone wants to leave, and we help you think this through before the documents are signed. You can read more in our article about choosing a company structure in Bulgaria.
After the registration
A registered company is the start, not the end. Most companies also need a business bank account, accounting from the first month, and sometimes a VAT number right away. We help with all of this as well, so the company is not only registered but ready to work. See our services for bank account support, accounting and VAT registration.
Who this is for
Our company formation service is used by freelancers and consultants, IT and online businesses, agencies, investors and founders who plan to move to Bulgaria. It works the same for EU and non-EU citizens. You don’t need to live in Bulgaria to own or manage a Bulgarian company.
